What the Sui Basecamp 2026 Creator Challenge portal collects, why, and what happens to it.
What we collect
- Account details you enter: email address, Sui address, country, and any Discord, X, or Telegram handle you give us.
- If you sign in with Google or Discord: the account identifier and email those services return. We ask for no other scopes.
- If you sign in with a wallet: the wallet address and the signed sign-in message. We never request a transaction.
- If you sign in with a password: a hash of the password. The password itself is never stored.
- Submissions: the links, titles, and notes you enter.
- Technical records: IP address and time for sign-ups, sign-ins, submissions, and edits, kept in an audit log.
Why we collect it
To run the challenge: to accept entries, judge them, contact winners, send prizes, and detect duplicate or fraudulent accounts. We ask for your country only to check that you are not in a region under comprehensive sanctions, where prize links cannot be issued. Nothing is used for marketing. The site sends no automated email; organizers send prize links to winners by email.
Where it goes
Data is stored on a server operated by the organizers and mirrored to a private Google Sheet that the judges use. Cloudflare processes requests to protect the site and runs the check on the sign-up form. We do not sell data or share it with anyone else, except where law requires.
How long we keep it
Account, submission, and audit data is kept until 90 days after the last prize is paid, then deleted.
Your choices
You can edit your profile from the Profile page and withdraw entries from My submissions at any time. To delete your account, ask in the Sui Discord.
