Rules and terms of entry
These rules apply to every category. Each category page adds its own conditions. By creating an account and submitting a link you agree to all of them.
Eligibility
The challenge is open to anyone aged 18 or over with a public account on the platform they publish to.
- Employees and contractors of the organizers and their immediate families cannot win prizes.
- Categories marked in person require attendance at Sui Basecamp 2026 in Singapore. Categories marked remote are open worldwide.
- One account per person. Two accounts cannot share a Sui address.
- Content must be published between 7 Oct, 11:00 SGT (UTC+8) and the close time of the category you enter it in. Older content is not eligible.
Content license
You keep ownership of what you make. By submitting a link you grant the organizers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to share, embed, quote, and repost the submitted content, with credit, in connection with Sui Basecamp and the Sui ecosystem. The license does not expire and does not transfer ownership.
You confirm the content is yours, or that you have permission from everyone who appears in it or contributed to it.
Where content must be posted
Every entry, in every category, must be posted publicly on a major platform such as YouTube or X, or the regional equivalent where you publish, for example Bilibili, VK, Naver, or Zalo. The link you submit must point to that public post, not to a file, a private page, a draft, or a post that needs a login or a follow to view.
Judges open the link as a logged-out visitor. If it does not load that way, the entry is not eligible.
What disqualifies an entry
- The link is private, deleted, or requires a login or a follow to view.
- The content was published outside the category window.
- The content was made by someone else, or the same link was submitted from another account.
- Engagement was bought or manufactured. Judges look at the work, not the numbers, but fake reach is a red flag.
- The content is misleading about Sui, a sponsor, or a person, or contains hate, harassment, or explicit material.
- The account gave false profile details, including a country chosen to avoid payout limits.
Disqualification is recorded with a reason. The organizers' decision is final.
AI policy
AI tools may be used to help make an entry, for example for editing, captions, translation, or drafts, unless the category says otherwise. The following categories do not permit AI-generated or AI-edited imagery: Most unique watch location.
Fully synthetic footage or images presented as real event footage will be disqualified in any category.
Payout method and geographic limits
Prizes are paid in usdSUI on Sui as a Slush link sent to the email address on the winner's profile, within 30 days of the results being announced. The email address is your responsibility. A link sent to a mistyped address cannot be recovered.
We cannot send prizes to people in regions under comprehensive sanctions. If the country on your profile is one of them we will tell you at signup. You can still enter, but a prize may not be payable.
Prizes may be taxable where you live. That is the winner's responsibility.
Judging criteria
A panel chosen by the organizers reviews every eligible entry after its category closes. Entries are scored on:
- Quality: is it well made for its format.
- Accuracy: is what it says about Sui and Basecamp true.
- Originality: does it show something a recap would not.
- Fit: does it do what the category asks for.
Reach is not a criterion. Results are announced on the official Sui channels. Winners are contacted at the email address on their profile. Judging notes are not shared.
Changes to these rules
Categories, prize amounts, and dates may change before the challenge opens. Changes after opening are made only to fix errors or comply with law, and are noted on this page with the date.
Entries are limited to 1 per creator per category.
